We are building a longhouse.

We’d love it if you’d join us.

The longhouse is construction-ready.

Here are some funding milestones we are working towards. Support can be funding or in-kind contributions. Contributions will be recognized unless otherwise requested.

The longhouse is being built by the Indigenous Food Sovereignty Assn (IFSA), on the farm, which is run by IFSA.

  • $1m

We can build the first longhouse to “lockup.” It will be timber framed, and beautiful. It will have 2 washrooms and host workshops and our farmer’s markets.

  • $1.5m

At this level, we can add: the traditional “monitor” roof, mini laundry, extended parking, and a commercial kitchen. We can host community events.

  • $2.5m

We add full food hub equipment, HVAC throughout, water recycling, energy efficiency, and totem pole. We can host community food processing at a larger scale.

  • $7m - Full Facility

$7m would build two longhouses - the second being for trades training - plus a food-rescue and large-scale processing facility connecting the two buildings!
