Tea Creek is launching a new program called I-FEAST. 

Indigenous-led Foodlands Employment Apprenticeship Skills Training
(I-FEAST) is a great way to find your path!

Try different trades, grow and prepare food, update industry work tickets and explore self-employment with our hands-on learning format.

This program will help you find employment, explore self-employment or start an apprenticeship. We will work with you to come up with a plan to support you with your goals.

If you are serious about preparing for employment this program is for you!

Learn skills and trades

Experience carpentry, mechanics, cooking, machine operation and more at Tea Creek!

Be a part of getting more food production going in our region! Learn a variety of food production techniques.

Grow food

Apprenticeships, jobs and further training will be available to participants who excel in this program and meet all employment requirements including regular attendance.

Get a job

Get supports

Participants in this program are connected to resources to support them throughout their training program. These supports include meals, accommodation, travel subsidy, living allowance, PPE and access to counselors and cultural workshops to promote a culturally-safe experience.

Ongoing intakes through June to September 2024 .

Applicants must be:

  • unemployed or under-employed

  • not currently enrolled as a full-time student in highschool or
    post-secondary

  • not currently receiving financial support from another provincially or federally funded labour market program

Seating is limited.
Successful applications will be subject to a practical interview
and assessment.

Amisk Farm

Tea Creek is excited to partner with Amisk Farm to deliver
I-FEAST in Moberly Lake BC.

Amisk Farm is an Indigenous-led market farm in North East BC where trainees will have an opportunity get hands-on experience with various trades, agriculture, animal husbandry and more!
