Specifications

Manufactured right here at Tea Creek. Based on a design by the University of Alberta, and refined by Kitwanga Mountain View Enterprises, a team with over 25 years of experience in horticulture. Designed in the north, for our northern climate, using our own labour and forest products.

  • 16’ wide, 12’ high (commercial high-tunnel height, extra-wide caterpillar tunnel width)

  • 4’ frame spacing (recommended)

  • Single or double UV Greenhouse Plastic, rated for at least 4 years of use

  • Extra strapping

Options include

  • Delivery and construction within our region

  • Footing construction

  • Fully framed end walls

  • Fans, doors, temperature controllers

  • Roll-up sides

  • Delivery, installation, and other options are extra.

Please Note: Greenhouses are currently only available to our partner communities, through Indigenous Food Sovereignty projects with Tea Creek. Greenhouses are manufactured per order, and require payment to secure the order. Completion times vary based on how many orders are in the queue. Prices and lead times vary depending on current market conditions. Currently, we are only able to sell our greenhouses within our region. Plans will be made available to partner communities and Nations who wish to make their own.
