On October 13th, an Introduction to Indigenous Agriculture cohort graduated after weeks of intensive training through the fall season. The graduates are:

  • Tractor Pre-Inspection and Safety training - both Manual and Automatic transmissions

  • Horticulture Introduction

  • Greenhouse Seeding, Propagation, and Transplanting

  • Field direct Seeding and Transplanting (paper pot and seedlings)

  • Composting, Plant Nutrition, and Amendments

  • Bed Creation and Bed flipping

  • Weed Control Methods

  • Hand Harvesting

  • Product Washing and Packaging

  • Introduction to Regenerative Ag

  • Introduction to Plumbing and Irrigation

  • Introduction to Ranching - handling Chickens, Cattle, Pigs, and Sheep

  • Wood chipper safety and operation
